Resolume arena 5 demo timecode3/16/2024 ![]() ![]() ![]() Just a question is that "Screen Warping & Video Mapping" and "Soft Edge" functions are included in the Avenue version or only in Arena version ? Great, it seem to have some good new features Great work guys!!! Comment from Straight-Disorder: and even the new features from the last version i was testing is amazing! I guess it been done this way to keep the cost for most VJ's down while developing tools for more complex shows that compete with media servers such as the Hippo (which are vastly more expensive) I would have thought that it is the mapping tools that are the major difference in capability between Avenue 4 and Arena. Isn´t there a way to make the mapping options available to Avenue 4 users as a module? I don´t need most of Arena capabilities, but the mapping tools. Yet, I am somewhat disappointed about my options. Pfelberg wrote:Congratullations to all Resolume team. Will there be any mapping features in avenue, or only in arena? Comment from stevelinus: So glad i took advantage of the 10th anniversary license discount. It looks like Resolume Avenue has finally come of age. If i chose the upgrade from resolume 3 to resolume 4, does it means that i can't use resolume 3 after? Comment from leolodreamland:īrilliant! looks like a great set of new features. Love the mapping and edge blending options! So cool! Can't wait to get my hands on this beta or maybe Alpha ?!? to test a bit around!ĭefinitely going for Arena. Running V4 alpha with events over 3 days with no crashes. Here are some pics of an event I did at the weekend using the soft edging feature with two projectors (via a DH2G)and a separate feed to two outer screens which were primarily used for video imag but mixing in some of our content. I can't begin to say how powerful yet simple the output slice / warping features are. It looks like a load more features have been added to the beta and they also look great - can't wait to get my hands on it. I have been using the V4 alpha for a while and can say that it is at least as stable as V3 if not more so. Will the mac version have native syphon support? Resolume 4 is loaded with stuff I have been needing. The automatic clip transitions are awesome, really changes the nature of a performance. Very very stable, and full of features that really help in creating and running sets eg. Perhaps I can mention that I've had the alpha of Resolume 4 for a bit, and it is great. Hopefully I can find enough spare-change to fill an Arena. Looking forward to fiddle around with the beta. Posted by bart on Thursday Septemat 17:44Įdit: could I get my hands on the beta this weekend? Printers also use queues to manage multiple print jobs, printing them in the order they were received. Network devices like switches and routers create queues when forwarding data packets across a network, ensuring packets arrive at the destination in the same order that they were transmitted. In addition to computers, other devices also use queues to manage data. A printer queue in macOS with two documents waiting for the current job to print For example, video encoding applications like HandBrake allow you to create a batch process queue that encodes one video at a time and automatically starts the next video after the previous encoding job finishes. Some applications create their own task queues for processor-intensive tasks, which may allow the user to customize the order in which some jobs get carried out. The task scheduler gives the process at the front of the queue CPU time to execute its instructions when one task finishes, it is removed from the queue so that the next one in line has its turn. Priority scheduling assigns each task a priority level using pre-determined criteria - for example, the task with the earliest deadline or the task that requires the least processing time - and processes the job with the highest priority first.Įvery operating system includes a software component, known as a task scheduler, which creates a queue of processes when several programs are running simultaneously. The Last In, First Out ( LIFO) method prioritizes the most recently added task instead of the oldest one. However, some tasks benefit from other ordering methods. Most job queues execute tasks in the same order that they were added, known as First In, First Out ( FIFO). Computer hardware and software applications use queues to know which data to process or transmit next after completing the previous task. After new tasks join a queue, they wait their turn as the system processes other tasks that are were there first or are of a higher priority. A queue is a list of tasks waiting to be processed. ![]()

If you are working on a very small amount of text, like a logo, put the English in either all caps or all lower case and use the same weight of line for both fonts. If you are creating fonts from scratch, try to create ones that have baselines, ascender heights, and descender heights that all line up. If you have a choice of fonts, which is not always possible if you are working with an institution where fonts are dictated by branding guidelines determined without thinking about this problem, try to choose mono-line fonts for both Hebrew and English so that the problems of opposing contrast are eliminated. The best we can do is to try to mitigate them. Unfortunately, there's no way to solve these problems. There are exceptions to all of these rules, but none of those exceptions pair much better (and some of them are hideous by themselves). Pointed pen fonts are cursive, which is to say that they join letters together, but ligatured Hebrew fonts are basically unknown. English pointed pen hands tend to be sharply angled, while Hebrew ones tend to be quite upright. It's based on writing done with a pointed pen, while Hebrew tends to imitate broad pen hands, even though both use expansion. Unfortunately, this kind of font is also ill-suited to be paired with Hebrew fonts. Letters that have a horizontal bar on their upper sides usually have a slight upward flick on the left, but the bottom of the letter is usually correspondingly rounded, meaning it is not a true serif.Īll the thick lines there are stand-ins for pressing more heavily on those strokes. ![]() Hebrew, on the other hand, has almost nothing that could be called a serif. As with most Latin serif typefaces, they have serifs at the terminus of most straight strokes. Our headers, however, are in a serif typeface (Libre Baskerville). These body paragraphs are written in a sans-serif font (Asap). Not all Latin alphabet fonts have serifs. Serifs, according to the most widely accepted theory, started as the flicks a pen or brush makes at the end of a stroke, then became stylized as carvers, first of stone, then woodblock, worked with them, and finally cast metal movable type, each approximated and altered them to suit the specs of their own medium. Bonus: Hebrew and English Serifs Are Not the Same The difference in shapes between Hebrew and English fonts will always make them somewhat distracting when in close proximity to one another. Here are the first five verses of Leviticus, in Hebrew and English, both in 12 pt font. Paragraph-level issues: Perceived Whitespace and Text Directionīetween different levels of contrast and different heights of their core letters, when you view a paragraph of English next to a paragraph of Hebrew, even were the baselines and lineheights to match up perfectly, they will give a different sense of blackspace vs. Even if you don't notice it consciously, it contributes to the weirdness. As your eye moves between the two, your brain needs to keep reversing its expectations of contrast in order to recognize the letters. When you stick Hebrew and English on the same page, the weight of the lines in their alphabets are at right angles with one another. The contrast level in Vilna is much closer to that of Elephant, which is considered rather extreme and stylized for English. Times New Roman is a very standard degree of contrast in English and Vilna is only slightly on the heavier side for Hebrew. Moreover, Hebrew tends toward a higher contrast than English. ![]()

Little caesars sesame seed crust3/15/2024 ![]() ![]() With a nearly half hour waiting period, the first stromboli that was eaten was mostly out of hunger than actually enjoying the experience. I didn’t really want to subject myself to eating these cooked in the microwave. I cooked both stromboli in the oven and then Google’d what the plural form of stromboli is. There is a layer where the dough ends and the filling lives where the stromboli dough becomes soggy. All of this is encased in the signature garlicky digiorno brand dough that doesn’t quite cook properly. The sauce itself is a bad combination of low fat mozzarella (the exceptionally tasteless kind) and poorly seasoned tomato paste. The texture of the chicken is like soggy tofu. I guess that explains why the chicken pieces taste disgustingly like I’m eating a boullion cube. The chicken contains real chicken, as well as “chicken flavor” which also includes dehydrated chicken broth and chicken powder. I’d like to point out the redundancy of adding fake grill marks to chicken that is about to be chunked up and tossed in stromboli filling. Evidently I could have just read the ingredient list which notes “cooked grill marked white meat chicken strips” with isolated soy protein. ![]() I dug into the boiling hot strombolis like an asshole shredding the chicken apart to confirm my theory that the meat in this aren’t cuts but more like chicken tofu. If you are hungry and your taste buds are shot, this will fill you up. It’s like Digiorno had their scientists figure out what the physical breaking point of the stromboli crust was, and just buttchugged them full of chicken meat and then filled in the crevices with tomato cheese sauce. One good thing I can say about the stromboli is that it is what you might call “packed out the ass” with chicken filling. Ranch and cheese stuffed crust buffalo chicken pizza? I’m going to throw up my stromboli. Do they actually make those pizzas? I went and checked their website and yes! There are six pizzas that contain chicken meat, of which most of them sound disgusting. It wasn’t until this stromboli that I realized I have never eaten a Digiorno pizza that had chicken on it. Satisfy your taste buds and your hunger!” “Crafted with the same 100% real cheese and premium meats that you’d expect on your favorite Digiorno pizza, these sandwiches are handheld, hearty, and stuffed with meat. Digiorno’s chicken parm stromboli describes itself as: I can’t say I have the same love for the Digiorno Stromboli chicken parm. At that point I’d rather get a real pizza from a pizzeria. Sure they aren’t as fancy as the Market Pantry brand but Digiorno has a special place as a good pizza when it is on sale and not at the ridiculous standard cost. ![]() There’s something special about that doughy, never-quite-fully-baked crust that I get a hankering for every six months or so. Maybe you should check out the one near you! You maybe be delightfully surprised to be able to add this easy dinner option to your allergy~friendly menu.It might surprise you to learn that I actually enjoy Digiorno brand food (Note to publisher: Ensure this review doesn’t go up immediately after the Digiorno croissant pizza review otherwise I’ll look like a moron), but the Shameless Consumer is quite a fan of their regular pizzas. Fortunately, this is NOT the case in the local business we frequent. As mentioned below, some Little Caesars may use peanut oil on their pizza doughs. I know that NOT all Little Caesars are the same, so be sure to speak with your local managers. Our friend Jonnie, who like us also manages dairy, egg and nut allergies, turned us on to this pizza franchise two years ago.
